1980s,
comprising:
- A four-page printout of Roger's initial, very detailed storyline synopsis of the originally-titled Magic Billy And The Satellites project, including content analysis and character development.
- A twenty-one page bound copy of the original Magic Billy And The Satellites manuscript/lyrics, containing Roger's early story outline, some dialogue, Welsh and American characters, ten embryonic songs for the album and four unused 'spare' songs, some pages with Roger's pencilled notes and amendments to lyrics and doodles.
- A twenty-five page bound version of the near final version of the album, showing how the concept/project evolved from Magic Billy to Radio K.A.O.S. and evolution of lyrics/songs, (3)

Footnotes

These documents provide a fascinating insight into the development of this project, coming from a period when Roger Waters was embroiled in a legal dispute with Pink Floyd's use of his material and the band's name following his departure in 1985.

Some of the songs failed to make it into the final Radio K.A.O.S. album but appeared, often with lyrics/title changes from the originals, as A and B-side singles/EPs, e.g. Molly's Song, Going To Live In LA, Back To Radio, or on Roger's later album Amused To Death, e.g. Three Wishes; A Song For Europe became The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range and Flickering Flame became Towers Of Faith.
