Sixties model Jean Shrimpton was gifted this watch by Terence Stamp, her long time partner. She references this watch in her own Autobiography:
Jean Shrimpton - "Terry did give me a lot of presents - a Paiget watch which I still wear, and a Cartier one which instead of having Cartier on the face had Shrimpton written across it. I gave that away in later years. I didn't need reminding of my name".
