The framed photo of Marianne with the bottles of Perrier-Jouët champagne was taken in the cellars of Epernay for the launch of the By & For cuvée, an exclusive champagne, the flavour balance of which could be personalised by the buyer. Marianne was one of a group of celebrities used to launch the champagne in 2008 alongside Sophie Marceau and Gong Li. They later celebrated the maturing of the vintage in 2010.
The photo of Marianne with Bob Dylan was a film still from 'Don't Look Back' D.A. Pennebaker's documentary of Dylan's 1965 tour. In the film Marianne joins Dylan and other guests in his suite at the Savoy Hotel, and she relates the encounter in hilarious detail in her autobiography 'Faithfull' (1994). They stayed in touch and she later guested on his radio show.
