Three Empire Mirrors
North America, early 19th century
all with deep cornices and ball pendants overhanging eglomisé transom panels, the smallest with painting of a rural cottage (23 3/8 x 13 3/4 x 3 in.); one depicting a Liberty figure flanked by silver urns (33 x 18 5/8 x 4 in.); and the largest with U.S. eagle and inscribed "J. Porter / Bridgeport Ct. / with care" in black paint on the backboard (37 x 21 x 5 in.)
