After Nicolas Sanson d'Abbeville, Américque Septentrionale (Paris, 1657), engraved print on paper, blind stamp of Columbia University Library at upper right, mounted in glazed frame, retains label of New York City framer Arthur Brown on reverse, sight 8 1/8 x 11 1/8 in.; framed 13 1/2 x 16 1/4 in.

Unsigned plate from Allain M. Mallet's Description de l'Univers (Frankfurt, 1686), entitled "der Grundriß von der Stadt deß Heyl. Dominicus" in margin, "Le plan de l'Isle de St. Jan de Pto. Rico..." in the plate, hand-colored engraved print on paper, mounted in glazed frame, sight 6 3/8 x 4 1/2 in.; framed 11 3/4 x 9 3/4 in.
