Large Mahogany Veneered Dressing Glass
probably England, c. 1810-1820
The base with banded inlay along the top edge, echoed along the perimeter of the mirror and drawers, with possibly original brass pulls, mirror adjustors, and inverted acorn finials; drawers made entirely of mahogany, with pine used as a secondary wood only for the back and bottom of the base, while the mirror backboard is oak, 71cm wide, 25cm deep, 73cm high (28 1/2in wide, 10 1/2in deep, 29 3/4in high).
