A SILVER HILTED SPANISH/SPANISH COLONIAL OFFICER'S SWORD,
19th century.

The hilt with narrow counter-guard and tapering knuckle bow joining a square pommel with gold foliate adornments, grip with pronounced finger grooves; slightly curved single-edge blade with angular tip and single wide fuller, silver mount at the ricasso with hallmarks.
Overall lg. 36 1/8 in.
