TWO SPANISH COLONIAL SHORT SABERS.
19th century.

Iron hilts with round counter-guards supporting four branches connecting to the knuckle bow, one with an iron grip, the other with a carved wood grip; one with a curved single-edge blade, the other with a later curved single-edge blade etched "ARTILLERIA FABRICA DE TOLEDO 1878" and tooled leather scabbard.
Overall lg. to 35 3/4 in.
