TWO SPANISH/PORTUGUESE CUP HILT BROADSWORDS.
late 17th/early 18th century.

The hilts with forged iron cross guards and knuckle bows, deep cup guards, faceted pommels, turned horn and wood grips and straight double edge blades, the blades with etched inscriptions "EL SANTISSIMO CRUCIFIGIO" and "MIN SINAL HES."

Overall lg. to 38 7/8 in.
