A FINE 17TH CENTURY SPANISH CUP HILT RAPIER.

The iron cup guard with decorative piercings and embossed double-headed eagles and profiles of classical figures, wide cross guard with twisted quillons and knuckle bow, flattened ball and spiral decorated pommel, iron wire covered grip; straight double-edge blade with narrow fuller with chiseled marking.
Overall lg. 47 1/4 in.
