Ruger Bearcat catalog number BC-4, serial number 90-23711, .22 Long Rifle caliber; blued steel barrel with doubled roller engraved markings reading "STURM, RUGER & CO./SOUTHPORT, CONN." with eagle emblem; round flat face ejector rod thumbpiece; one-piece black anodized aluminum alloy frame; gold-toned aluminum anodized trigger guard; blued steel cylinder with roller engraved bear and cougar scene and "RUGER/BEARCAT" marking; walnut grips with aluminum eagle medallions; original non-matching numbered factory box.
Barrel lg. 4 in., overall lg. 8 ¾ in.

Ruger Super Bearcat catalog number SBC-4, serial number 91-41002, .22 Long Rifle caliber; blued steel barrel lacking any barrel markings; round flat face ejector rod thumbpiece; one-piece blued steel frame and trigger guard; blued steel cylinder with roller engraved bear and cougar scene and "RUGER/BEARCAT" marking; walnut grips with aluminum eagle medallions; original unnumbered factory Bearcat box.
Barrel lg. 4 in., overall lg. 8 ¾ in.

Condition: Bearcat 90-23711, bluing is very good with a few small spots of wear/loss; cylinder has a turn line, trigger guard has an area of wear on the right side, grips are excellent, bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly, box has wear and loss to the label.

Super Bearcat 91-41002, bluing is nearly 100% with a few scattered small surface blemishes, cylinder has a subtle turn line, grips have minor blemishes, bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly, box has wear to the edges and a repair to one corner.
