1968.

Ruger catalog number BC-4, serial number 99802, .22 Long Rifle caliber; blued steel barrel with roller engraved markings reading "STURM, RUGER & CO./SOUTHPORT, CONN." with "SR" eagle emblem; round flat face ejector rod thumbpiece; one-piece black anodized aluminum alloy frame; gold-toned aluminum anodized trigger guard; blued steel cylinder with roller engraved bear and cougar scene and "RUGER/BEARCAT" marking; walnut grip panels with eagle medallions; with original numbered factory box with instructions and registration card
Barrel lg. 4 in., overall lg. 8 ¾ in.

Condition: Excellent, nearly as-new, overall condition; bluing is nearly 100%; grips are excellent; action functions properly; box has minor wear on the corners.
