A SCARCE RUGER BEARCAT NO "SR" ON EAGLE SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER,

Ruger catalog number BC-4, serial number 990392, .22 Long Rifle caliber; blued steel barrel with roller engraved markings reading "STURM, RUGER & CO./SOUTHPORT, CONN." with eagle emblem lacking the intertwined "SR"; round flat face ejector rod thumbpiece; one-piece black anodized aluminum alloy frame; gold-toned aluminum anodized trigger guard; blued steel cylinder with roller engraved bear and cougar scene and "RUGER/BEARCAT" marking; walnut grips with aluminum eagle medallions; original numbered factory box with instructions.
Barrel lg. 4 in., overall lg. 8 ¾ in.
**Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.**
**With the enactment of new Massachusetts firearms legislation on October 2, 2024, transfers of ALL post-1898 firearms within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, INCLUDING curio & relic firearms, MUST be processed through a federal firearms dealer. C&R holders from other states must arrange for C&R firearms purchases to be shipped.
Condition: Very good overall condition, bluing is thinning at the muzzle and has scattered spots of loss, bluing on cylinder shows wear on the edges and there is a very fine turn line; grips have minor wear; bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly; box is very good with minor wear on the corners.
