A RARE RUGER BEARCAT "S"-SUFFIX SECONDS MARKED SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH ORIGINAL BOX,

Ruger catalog number BC-4, serial number 18099S, .22 Long Rifle caliber; blued steel barrel with roller engraved markings reading "STURM, RUGER & CO./SOUTHPORT, CONN." with "SR" eagle emblem; round flat face ejector rod thumbpiece; one-piece black anodized aluminum alloy frame; gold-toned aluminum anodized trigger guard; blued steel cylinder with roller engraved bear and cougar scene and "RUGER/BEARCAT" marking; Wondawood grip panels without a medallion; original unnumbered factory box with brown paper wrapper.
Barrel lg. 4 in., overall lg. 8 ¾ in.
**Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.**
**With the enactment of new Massachusetts firearms legislation on October 2, 2024, transfers of ALL post-1898 firearms within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, INCLUDING curio & relic firearms, MUST be processed through a federal firearms dealer. C&R holders from other states must arrange for C&R firearms purchases to be shipped.
Condition: Good overall condition with areas of thinning of the bluing on the ejector housing, sharp edges, and scattered spots, cylinder bluing is worn, loading door bluing is toning to blue/brown, grips have minor blemishes, bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly; box has areas of wear especially at the corners.
