A COLT POLICE POSITIVE .38 REVOLVER WITH RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY MARKINGS,

Serial number 341048, .38 caliber, blued steel barrel, frame an cylinder with proper roller engraved markings, the back strap marked "RY.EX.AGY."; checkered walnut grips with silver rampant colt medallions; brown leather holster marked "RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY" on the flap; with later green-painted display case.
Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 1/4 in.

Condition: Bluing shows wear at the muzzle and sharp edges of the frame and cylinder, right grip has a small chip at the base; bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly.
