A WORLD WAR II SMITH & WESSON .38 SPECIAL VICTORY REVOLVER,
1942-45.

Serial number V608658, .38 Special caliber, proper sandblast blue finish; barrel with blade front sight and proper roller engraved markings, top of the frame marked with a flaming bomb emblem and "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D."; left side of frame marked "P"; right side of frame with Smith & Wesson logo marking and "MADE IN U.S.A."; smooth walnut grips and lanyard loop on the bottom of the grip frame, all visible serial numbers match.
Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 9 in.

Condition: Excellent overall condition, finish shows occasional thinning at the corners and has minor handling marks; hammer and trigger retain strong case coloring; grips have very minor blemishes; bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly.
