A WORLD WAR II SMITH & WESSON .38 SPECIAL VICTORY REVOLVER,
1942-45.

Serial number V371549, .38 Special caliber, proper sandblast blue finish; barrel with blade front sight and proper roller engraved markings, top of the frame marked with a flaming bomb emblem and "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D."; right side of frame with Smith & Wesson logo marking and "MADE IN U.S.A."; smooth walnut grips, the bottom of one with lightly scratched name "NIE" and lanyard loop on the bottom of the grip frame, all visible serial numbers match.
Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 9 in.

Condition: Excellent overall condition, finish is nearly 100% with a few very small spots of surface oxidation and handling marks; hammer and trigger retain case coloring; grips have very minor blemishes; bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly.
