A U.S. MODEL 1898 KRAG BOWIE KNIFE BAYONET,
1900.

Wood grip with push-button latch on the pommel; slightly curved single-edge Bowie knife-style blade with false edge on the top, the right ricasso marked "US", the left ricasso marked "1900"; blued steel scabbard and belt loop.
Blade lg. 9, overall lg. 13 3/4 in.

Condition: Pommel has gray mottling, wood has surface blemishes; blade is mostly bright with light gray mottling; scabbard bluing shows wear at the edge and scattered light oxidation.
