Julian Saget & Son, mid-19th century.

45 in., 12-gauge barrels, the center rib with inlaid gold inscription "J. SAGET & SON NEW-ORLEANS"; foliate scroll engraved lock plates with inlaid gold inscription "J. SAGET & SON"; walnut stock with checkered wrist, steel furniture, wood rammer.
Overall lg. 61 1/2 in.

Condition: Iron toned to deep brown; stock has old surface and scattered dings and dents; action functions properly.
