TWO 19TH CENTURY U.S. NAVY RIFLE BAYONETS.

A U.S. Model 1861 Navy Rifle bayonet for the Plymouth/Whitneyville rifle with ribbed brass handle marked "843" on the back; Yataghan blade marked "COLLINS & CO/HARTFORD/CONN" and black leather and brass scabbard, blade lg. 22 1/2, overall lg. 27 1/4 in.

A U.S. Model 1862 Merrill Navy Rifle bayonet with brass handle marked "10348" on the back and with steel muzzle ring, Yataghan blade marked "1862" and black leather and brass scabbard, blade lg. 25 1/2, overall lg. 3- 1/4 in.
