A SPANISH MODEL 1826 FLINTLOCK PISTOL FOR CARABINEROS REALES AND PRUSSIAN MODEL 1850 PERCUSSION CAVALRY PISTOL,
19th century.

The Spanish Model 1826 Pistol for Carabineros Reales with 8 in, .72 caliber round barrel with octagonal breech having an oval cartouche on the top and engraved with a crown over an arrow-like symbol and "Cs. Rs."; unmarked lock plate with pointed tail and brass pan; walnut stock; brass furniture including a butt cap, trigger guard and barrel band, iron side plate and lanyard loop; steel swivel rammer with large button head.
Overall lg. 14 3/4 in.

The Prussian Model 1850 percussion pistol with 7 3/4 in., .62 caliber round barrel with octagonal breech, and tall front sight; flat lock plate with rounded tail, marked with a crown over "Saarn" in front of the hammer; walnut stock with faint markings behind the side plate; brass furniture including a butt plate, trigger guard, and barrel band, iron side plate and lanyard ring.
Overall lg. 15 in.

Condition: Pistols are in good overall condition with minor to moderate wear, scattered light pitting on the iron parts; stocks have scattered dings and dents; actions function properly.
