This rod-formed amulet, trailed and tooled to form three aquatic birds with a lateral drilled hole for suspension, is more usually found as single or double birds. For a double bird pendant in black and red glass found during excavations of the Palace of Amenhotep III, Malqata, Thebes, at the beginning of the 20th Century, cf. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, obj. no. 26.7.1145.
