Nefertari was Ramesses II's first and most beloved wife, who was honoured with the finest tomb in the Valley of the Queens. For other examples of shabtis for Nefertari see the MFA Boston Accession Numbers: 04.1766 -1768. On the above lot part of her cartouche is visible in the upper band of text on her proper right side.
