A FINE COMPLETE LEAD TOY DIORAMA, IN ORIGINAL BOX, depicting an expedition to the Arctic, the 36 lead figures set against a dramatic icy landscape. The figures include: Canoes (2, one with single figure, one with 2 figures of which one holding harpoon and rope); "Esquimo" with spear, his igloo, dog and two poles with a line of drying fish; 5 single explorers (one with axe, 2 with guns, 2 with poles); a large whale; a pack of 3 dogs hauling a sledge; a polar bear; a French flag; seals (3, one swimming); large tent; birds (9, including 4 penguins, cormorant, and 4 seagulls), oddments (4, including luggage, fire and fauna).
