Artist Statement: Heidi Libera has lived and painted in lakeside communities most of her life, finding endless creative inspiration in surrounding beaches, lakes, parks, gardens, and rural landscapes.

Her travels and study of American and European Impressionism and contemporary art continue to inspire her painterly technique and distinctive interpretation of light and color. Heidi studied design, painting, and art history at St. Catherine College and Minneapolis College of Art & Design in Minnesota. She worked as an artist, art director, designer, and marketing director for over 30 years. Heidi's paintings have been showcased at exhibitions and events at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA), Minneapolis College of Art Design Art Auction (MCAD), and promoted through the Minneapolis Interior Design community (ASID).

"With luscious color and bold brush strokes, Heidi's paintings are an invitation to the worlds most beautiful places-Lake Minnetonka, the California Coast, the Gulf Coast, the Caribbean, Italy, and the Cote d' Azur." -Mpls St Paul Magazine
