A Diné (Navajo) squash blossom necklace

A heavy example, designed with a strand of rounded silver beads interspersed with eleven four-petal blossoms, with two additional "blossoms" terminating in a fleur-de-lis and a crescent, respectively, the heavy two-part naja with channeled terminals, re-strung, four blossoms with lost petals
wearable length 22in, naja length 3 3/8in; gross weight approximately 301.6g

The necklace is accompanied by a handwritten note by the collector stating the above. Arthur Seligman (1873-1933) was the Mayor of Santa Fe, NM for six years, later serving as Governor of the state of New Mexico between 1931 and 1933.
