CARTIER: AN 18K GOLD, WHITE AGATE AND RUBY BROOCH, CIRCA 1950

Designed as a hatching duckling, accented with a round ruby, the shell a carved cabochon agate, signed Cartier, with maker's mark, with serial number, France, with signed box, measures 1 3/8 x 3/4 in.

OVERALL CONDITION:
Metal stamped and tested with XRF (X-ray fluorescence) for 18k gold; pinback clasp secure; carved cabochon agate is slightly loose but secure in setting; superficial wear in the form of minor scratches; overall good condition.
