Diné (Navajo), (20th/21st century), a large sterling silver concha belt, the shaped buckle deeply stamped, repousse decorated and set with two oval turquoise, with eight oval conchas, each centering a conforming turquoise cabochon, buckle stamped with maker's mark: R. Martinez, and: Sterling.
overall length 48 1/4in, buckle: height 3 1/2in, width 4 5/8in, each concha: height 3in, width 3 1/2in; gross weight approximately 875.4g
