A RARE AND UNUSUAL FLAMBE-GLAZED VASE

Incised Qianlong seal mark
The low-set pear-form body rising from a short foot to a mid-point set off by a wide channeled bow-string band and tapering inward to a narrow neck set off by three ring handles below the everted mouth, the surface cover with a rich flambe glaze streaking to purple at the handles, neck and mouth, the six-character Qianlong seal mark carved into the the mottled iron brown glazed foot.
