Prince Ding Zaichuan was a Manchu prince during the Qing dynasty and the great-great-grandson of the Qianlong Emperor. The fifth Prince Ding Zaichuan rose to high official rank of his own accord during the Daoguang and Xianfeng reigns. He was a noted poet, collector and patron of the arts.
