A BEIGE-GROUND PUDDINGSTONE SNUFF BOTTLE

1750-1860
Of bulbous rounded shape, the conglomerate with multi-colored rounded pebbles starkly contrasted against a finer-grained sandy matrix, the pebbles of larger size to each main side and with a layer of smaller pebbles and chips sandwiched to the narrow sides, below a short cylindrical neck with flat rim and small mouth, supported on a simple concave base.
