A SEMI-OPAQUE WHITE OVERLAY TRANSPARENT BLUE GLASS 'GENTIAN OR LILY' SNUFF BOTTLE

1740-1830
Of slender tapering rounded rectangular shape, carved through a semi-opaque white overlay on each side with a stem of a gentian or lily plant with a large, opened flower at the center and a smaller closed bud below, the white overlay used to form the flat oval foot rim, the neck very slightly waisted and with a flat rim and wide mouth opening.
