A RARE TALL INSCRIBED CYLINDRICAL AQUAMARINE 'FIGURAL' SNUFF BOTTLE

1780-1880
Superbly carved in high relief to one side with a male figure, possibly an immortal, holding aloft a tall helmet, possibly a monk's cap, in his raised left hand with four young acolytes to his sides, the reverse side with a low-relief seven-character inscription on the subject of the deity Kui xing followed by two pseudo seals.
3in (7.6cm) high, stopper
