In 2015, Rolex unveiled the Yacht-Master 116655, marking several important firsts for the collection. It was the first Yacht-Master crafted from Everose gold, Rolex's proprietary rose-gold alloy, and the very first Rolex fitted with the innovative Oysterflex bracelet. Unlike a traditional rubber strap, the Oysterflex combines the comfort of elastomer with the strength of a titanium-nickel metal blade hidden inside.

Another debut for the Yacht-Master was the black Cerachrom ceramic bezel, which pairs seamlessly with the matte black dial, rose-gold Mercedes hands, and matching lume surrounds. The result was a striking contrast of warm Everose tones and deep black details.

That same year, Rolex expanded the line with the Yacht-Master 268655, a 37mm Everose gold and Oysterflex version. This new mid-size case effectively replaced the discontinued 29mm and 35mm editions, offering a more modern and versatile alternative for collectors who preferred a smaller format.
