The Reine de Naples collection, first launched in 2002, pays homage to one of the horological achievements Abraham-Louis Breguet put his name to - that of the first ever wristwatch. Commissioned in 1810, Breguet completed and delivered his wristwatch to his esteemed client the Queen of Naples, Caroline Murat, on the 5th October 1812. Caroline Murat, often known as Caroline Bonaparte, was the sister to Napoleon and was a great lover of the arts. This present watch features a magnificent dial with exploding Arabic numerals, a sapphire crystal case back that allows you to admire the mechanism, and a very attractive braided bracelet.
