Footnotes

Cylindrical vase partially decorated with four engraved scenes, arranged in two registers within rectangular cartouches. In the upper left cartouche, the god Tlaloc can be identified, recognizable by his outlined eye, moustache, and protruding tongue, shown in profile. He is preceded by a dignitary wearing a tall zoomorphic headdress. Below are two scenes featuring seated figures with skull-like heads. Finally, a frieze of glyphs with jaguar heads decorates the top of the upper smooth section.
