A SASHIMONO (BATTLE STANDARD)
Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century
Of off-white silk with a green border, bearing a red maru ni ken katabami mon (crest of wood-sorrel leaves within a circle with sword tips), originally used by Ukita Hideie (1572-1655); together with a modern wood storage box bearing an attestation by a member of the Myōchin lineage
