[NASA caption] Standing by in the launch area during the countdown of the MR-4 will be an Army M-113 personnel carrier, seen at the base of the rocket. If it becomes necessary for the pilot to be removed from the spacecraft in the final minutes of the count, the "cherry picker" would deliver him to the personnel carrier which would carry him out of the area.
