The Wood Engravings of William Blake for Thornton's Virgil 1821, LIMITED TO 150 COPIES, this out-of-series and INSCRIBED "for John Piper from Iain Banks", 17 wood-engravings on Japanese Hosho paper, loose as issued in a card folder, printed with text relating to each image, all the engravings signed in pencil "Printer's Trial IB Jul '76", two with light spotting, together with a Prospectus booklet printed by Iain Bain and David Chambers, publisher's printed wrappers, all housed in a patterned paper-covered box (worn with upper hinge splitting), 120 x 150mm.
