Footnotes

The second Aldine edition of Lucretius's poem on Epicuream philosophy, and Aldus's final publication prior to his death in February 1515. Aldus notes in the preface about this revised text that "ut Lucretius legi atque intellegi tandem possit"("Lucretius can finally be read with understanding").
