Heraldic scroll titled "The Genealogy of the Antient Family of Medley of Warwickshire" in an elaborate gilded cartouche, tracing the 13 generations from Benedict Medley, Clerk of the Signet to Henry VII to James Evelyn Esq of Felbridge (1718-1795) and his daughter Julia Annabella (b.1757), each generation illustrated with coats-of-arms, large coat-of-arms surmounted by a griffin at foot, on vellum, joined twice, dust-staining and marks, pen and ink, red, blue and green washes with gilt, c.2170 x 510mm., [late eighteenth/early nineteenth century]; in the original embossed calf case, lined with marbled paper, worn, 590 x 60 x 60mm.
