October 15th 1740', including approximately 135 for cooking, preserving, wines etc., five 'Bills of Fare', and an index, ink on paper, mostly in one neat hand, on 177 leaves (title and numbered 3-182, without nos. 8, 25 and 180-181, all but 6 leaves written only on recto only), one gathering working loose, occasional spots or small stains, original stained vellum, worn, 4to (195 x 155mm.), 1740s
