signed and numbered 'A. Rodin No 9' (on the bottom of the feet) and stamped with the foundry mark 'Georges Rudier. Fondeur. Paris.' (on the lower leg)

Conceived circa 1885. This bronze version cast by the Georges Rudier Foundry, Paris in June 1961 in an edition of 12 plus the no. 0 for the Musée Rodin
