I'm Not Going Past That Horse
signed 'HELEN BRADLEY' and with fly insignia (lower right); inscribed '"I'm not going past that horse", said Miss/Carter (who wore Pink) and just look at all those/cows in the next field, "They'll be quite alright", said/Mr Taylor (the Bank Manager) "Well, I'm not going,/so dont open the gate". cried Miss Carter. Just then/aunt Mary called to Mr Taylor; "Come along, were/turning back, I know Jane wont go through/those fields especially with the children, That horse/is too frisky", so, very sadly we all turned back/. It was such a pity, because the evening was so/warm and lovely. "Ive never known the farmer/put a horse in that field before", "Well", theres/nothing we can do but turn back" said Mother./Mr Taylor was very kind and didnt get cross about/our spoiled walk and the year was 1907." (on an artist's label attached verso)
