An Abbasid lustre pottery bowl
Mesopotamia, 9th/ 10th Century

of deep rounded form with everted rim on a short foot, decorated in a brown and yellowish gold lustre with a central figure flanked by inscriptions, the rim with a band of partial almond motifs
13.2 cm. diam.
