The present work depicts Doris Marie (née Singer) Weimer (1918-2000), first cousin of Clyde Singer on the artist's front porch in Malvern, Ohio. The artist's father, Andrew R. Singer (1870-1946) is depicted at center left by the fence talking to a neighbor.
