Designed as a winged dragon, set with old brilliant- and brilliant-cut diamonds, maker's mark for Patek Philippe, length 8.0cm, cased by Patek Philippe

Footnotes

Richard Condon, well known American novelist, author of The Manchurian Candidate and Prizzi's Honor, commissioned this brooch from Patek Philippe in Geneva, while he was resident in Switzerland in the early 1960's.  Thence by descent to the present owner.
