Footnotes

Buccellati are known for their unique blend of high-quality materials and intricate designs inspired by Italy's rich history. The firm was founded in 1919 when 28-year-old jeweller Mario Buccellati took over a shop on Via Santa Margherita in Milan. Inspired by traditional Florentine goldsmithing techniques, he created bold and daring designs featuring engraving known as 'texture engraving', now seen as the Buccellati hallmark.
