The Reference 5930G, released in 2016, features the highly coveted combination of two long-standing Patek Philippe specialities - the chronograph and the world time complication. The technical feat required to merge the calibres of two substantial complications in their own right led to the creation of, at the time, the world's thinnest world-time chronograph, seen in the present example, which measures a mere 12mm in thickness.
The 30-minute flyback chronograph is activated, stopped and reset through the two rectangular pushers on the right side of the case, whilst the 24-hour world time ring is set by the matching pusher at 10 o'clock. The beautifully-finished, blue engine-turned dial complements the cool white gold case, completing the stylishly modernised aesthetic of the ultimate wristwatch for the jet-set collector.
