The Breguet Type XX has been reissued a number of times due to its popularity since its inception as a tool watch for the French armed forces in 1954. Introduced in 2010, the Type XXII continued this narrative taking its cues from the original Type XX whilst also adding a modern twist for contemporary civilian collectors. Where the Type XXII departs from its previous iterations is primarily in the new movement, calibre 589F, which operates at the high frequency of 10Hz/72,000 vph allowing for even greater accuracy.
As Breguet celebrate their 250th Anniversary, the Type XX, in all its guises, remains an iconic part of the brands history.
